Had a bad day? Don't fret. It's time to shove Daniel Powter off your sleeves, cos' Australian crooner, Ms Paulini, will heat up the dancefloor with her brand new single "Rough Day" off her sophomore album! I've got to say it's a really catchy song that I couldn't help but groove to the beat! Edgy with a mix of R&B, this song topped the OZ charts when it first hit the radios and no doubt one tune that will shake off the cobwebs! So whatcha waitin' for? Hit on the PLAY button and boogie with this young OZ diva!

Modern "AH MENGS" stroll in the wild.

WOOO! Guess what? I went to the zoo yesterday! Haha! Yeah I did! And you might think that the Zoological Gardens is mainly for kids and families... well, NOT AT ALL. The zoo is one place in Singapore that really rewinds the past. Those days...we used to visit that place quite often.. say almost every year especially in the primary seasons? And my previous visit to the zoo was merely 1.5 years ago, with two of my besties! Yes it was! How fast time slips off, just like that!

Can't really imagine visiting the zoo again... but BIG thanks to MTI for having complementary passes and we were privileged to NOT pay a single cent, plus we got to ride on the trams! What's more, it's SGD 20 per entry, which we thought really wasn't that worth the cash cos' we entered the place at approx. 15 past 3 and not to mention, the Zoo seemed to have shrunk over the years. It's smaller than what we used to think it is while we were still boy-boys and girl-girls. Sad but true. Oh well, it's not like you care that much about the home of animals right? Or rather, some of you don't... but I must say it was quite nostalgic as we mentioned our childhood excursions. Last afternoon, the "residents" appeared rather inactive and were quite reluctant to greet their frenzy spectators with much glee. In addition, we felt like we were literally baked. However, we had fun... so much fun I must say it was considered one of the best moments of my life spent with a few of my not-so-new friends. They are more to me like brothers and sisters... we do bond absolutely great. Not to brag on any longer... here are some of the shots we snapped, so TAKE A LOOK!

Dinner was bummie-yummie at Tony Roma's. Hell yeah do they serve scrumptious ribs...probably the best in town I must admit, but not too sure about America though... (that's what its slogan states). I still miss Anahiem's.
So we rode to Fort Canning Park after jam-packing our stomachs. No other intention, but we were just up on the hill to cut a cake! YES! It's a birthday cake! Gan's 21st! But before that, we unintentionally parked next to a car... and a couple was making out right in there! Not that the car was vibrating or whatsoever which caught our attention, but they were just doing something not that obscene to us but may be considered quite obscene to the general population. That's right! Can't they just book in to a hotel room?? Cheaporeans I assume.
Anyway, FCP was really eerie. It was so dark as we made our way up and past the Legends Country House. The path lamps weren't helping much, but we moved on. The Big "O" from NYDC was nice... Gan was touched (I hope she really was for all that we have done!).

And now, we are left with the task to COMPOSE A SONG for the overgrown baby. Oh man, this is tough work! Regardless, we are still gonna do it cos' we needa prove ourselves musicians!

The Blazing Star

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

This is the person. Shayne Ward, winner of The X Factor 2 last year. A show produced by who else but you-know-who-aka-simon-the-cow-in-the-well. Meanwhile, I'll have to say this rendition of "Over The Rainbow" is by far the one sung with the best vocals anyone could not have mustered... except for Mr. Ward himself, who truly showcased his incredible vocal range and blew the crowd off their feet! I do like Katharine Mcphee's rendition as well, which sounded jazzy and soulful. But let's flash the limelight on Shayne, cos' I think he's just an amazing star whose currently one of the biggest selling male artiste in the UK... and here's a lil taste of him...

ENJOY!

THIS BLOG IS OFFICIALLY PRONOUCED DEAD!

Just kidding! How could I ever close my blog, that's not a thing I'd really do you know. To start off, I've got to say a big "SORRY" to all for not updating my space here since July... but why should I apologize when they're all for the pleasure of your eyes? Sounds corny huh... HAHA... I thought so too! Okay, now, what on earth did I just blabbered? Oh well, as I've said, this IS my space and I'll talk whatever I want to!

Alrighty, let's get down to real updates. Haven't really been that free since my last entry... DEBITS to work work work work, OHHHH, did I mention WORK?? We just managed to draw the finish line for our accounts a couple of weeks ago and I've got to admit those were the days...which we were almost boiled alive! Okay, maybe not that bad, but I'm really glad that it's all over! PHHHHHEEEWWWWWWWW! However, the turnover rate in the workplace is gawd damn high... and I can't bare to see so many of my colleagues leave. But yes, this is part of life... people come and go... I'm really gonna miss a few of them...
Not to worry though... cos' I still have one of my best buddies, whose commencing work quite soon! And who rocks? That would be ME... (if you don't dig, it's fine!). So much for the effort man. Oh and YEAH! Internship is OFFICIALLY OVER! Just felt like this weight has been lifted off my shoulders! Not to mention, I've extended my stay in MTI! For good. Er, I hope. And guess what...I'm taking on an appointment as an hourly-rated CSO. Alot of my colleagues reckoned I should protest for an hourly-rated SAD salary, considering the amount of work I am about to accomplish. I've been asked to take over portions of my previous SAD's work before the new recruit storms in (not to mention, he's quite a HULK, I suppose!), and then I'm SORTA taking over Diana's work when she's gone, and that includes nannying the new generation of temps and interns...and I've still got my own work to care of.... OH LORD! So now I'm taking these opportunities to SLACK WHILE I CAN! Cos' time's running out! I NEED HELP....OHHHH PURLEASSEEEEEEEE ARHHHH! *kneels on the floor and performs a ritual*

I must say I'm really enjoying my days to their fullest... A big SHOUT OUT to my friends and colleagues for making my days so colourful! I've to say these 5 mnths plus had been a fantastic turnout for yours truly... I learnt alot...really a lot... and I'm grateful to all those who have contributed me with their kindness and affection. You guys have made me soar! I'd always remember those good ol' days and I'll embrace those that have yet to come. More soon!
