Modern "AH MENGS" stroll in the wild.

WOOO! Guess what? I went to the zoo yesterday! Haha! Yeah I did! And you might think that the Zoological Gardens is mainly for kids and families... well, NOT AT ALL. The zoo is one place in Singapore that really rewinds the past. Those days...we used to visit that place quite often.. say almost every year especially in the primary seasons? And my previous visit to the zoo was merely 1.5 years ago, with two of my besties! Yes it was! How fast time slips off, just like that!

Can't really imagine visiting the zoo again... but BIG thanks to MTI for having complementary passes and we were privileged to NOT pay a single cent, plus we got to ride on the trams! What's more, it's SGD 20 per entry, which we thought really wasn't that worth the cash cos' we entered the place at approx. 15 past 3 and not to mention, the Zoo seemed to have shrunk over the years. It's smaller than what we used to think it is while we were still boy-boys and girl-girls. Sad but true. Oh well, it's not like you care that much about the home of animals right? Or rather, some of you don't... but I must say it was quite nostalgic as we mentioned our childhood excursions. Last afternoon, the "residents" appeared rather inactive and were quite reluctant to greet their frenzy spectators with much glee. In addition, we felt like we were literally baked. However, we had fun... so much fun I must say it was considered one of the best moments of my life spent with a few of my not-so-new friends. They are more to me like brothers and sisters... we do bond absolutely great. Not to brag on any longer... here are some of the shots we snapped, so TAKE A LOOK!

Dinner was bummie-yummie at Tony Roma's. Hell yeah do they serve scrumptious ribs...probably the best in town I must admit, but not too sure about America though... (that's what its slogan states). I still miss Anahiem's.
So we rode to Fort Canning Park after jam-packing our stomachs. No other intention, but we were just up on the hill to cut a cake! YES! It's a birthday cake! Gan's 21st! But before that, we unintentionally parked next to a car... and a couple was making out right in there! Not that the car was vibrating or whatsoever which caught our attention, but they were just doing something not that obscene to us but may be considered quite obscene to the general population. That's right! Can't they just book in to a hotel room?? Cheaporeans I assume.
Anyway, FCP was really eerie. It was so dark as we made our way up and past the Legends Country House. The path lamps weren't helping much, but we moved on. The Big "O" from NYDC was nice... Gan was touched (I hope she really was for all that we have done!).

And now, we are left with the task to COMPOSE A SONG for the overgrown baby. Oh man, this is tough work! Regardless, we are still gonna do it cos' we needa prove ourselves musicians!
