Today is terrible! In the morning, right after crawling out of bed, immediately I turned on my laptop. And after exploring it for a moment or so, to my astonishment, I realised my laptop was working very very very slowly, and there were lots of pop-ups and I can't even get into my Hotmail and Yahoo!! All these were caused by SPYWARES!!! I was so furious and sad at the same time. Furious because I was thinking, who the hell installed those Spywares into my comp, sad because what if I couldn't remove them?? Then, these spies will be eating up my programs and hinder my usual Net activities. Can you imagine that you can't even check your emails, can't even go to search engines, then what's the reason for me keeping this laptop?? It took me the whole day to deal with it!
Ok, what is SPYWARE. Basically, Spyware is a term used for any software that is installed without the user's knowledge that secretly gathers information about the user and transmits it thru' his/her Internet connection to advertisers. They are similar to cookies and Web bugs. Once a spyware program is installed in your PC, it typically does not show up on any list of installed programs, making it difficult for users both to realise that it has been installed and to uninstall it.
I have been searching for the cause of the spywares and at that moment, I was really frustrated and needed help. My CIP(Computers & Technology in a Changing Society) textbook came to my mind. Luckily I studied this module. And I found it, then read it. The book introduced some anti-spyware programs and I thus installed this program called Ad-Aware SE. It really helped! Before that, I blocked all the cookies, not those cookies that we usually eat, but it is some small text files that are stored on your hard drive by a Web server. The anti-spyware program really helped, I ran several scans and quarantined 2500++ files!!! Can you imagine that??? I was like shocked. So many files were infected? Gosh! But luckily it's all over now! I even deleted my Kazaa for the sake of my laptop, AHHHH....my precious songs are now gone!! But I knew I had to do it. So... there. Now I just have to be extra careful when exploring the Net, because you'll never know what all those hackers or spies are doing to your computers! So you guys must run scans regularly! And block cookies! Scary...

Aww... another super duper boring day for me. Nothing to do at all, but music kept me company. I have been exercising my jaws daily and everytime I do that, it just gives me this strange feeling that I have the biggest jaw in the world! Haha! So beware people, I might just eat you up! Watched Idol's results last night, nothing impressive though, but I was totally elated that Chrisypoo is out! He is totally like John Stevens of American Idol 3, both having mediocre vocals. But i actually enjoyed John Steven's performances to Chrisyphoo's. * Shakes his head vigorously * Anyway, it's over for him, so good luck to the Final 5 Idols left. R&B/Soul theme for next week, lots of song choices, pretty tough. I just hope that someone can just blow us away with TOUCHDOWN performances, because week after week, I'm just getting extremely bored with the show. I'm waiting for American Idol 4!!! It's airing in Jan '05! Oh man, can't wait, CAN'T WAIT!
Was ransacking the storeroom with my Mum just now to comb for some old bedsheets to wash. Found it, opened it. *Chokes and coughs clumsily* Pooo! It was damn dusty and gosh, it stinked! That was the reason for my title. From that moment, my nose was feeling so itchy and I was feeling so unwell, that I had to rub my nose uncontrollably. Absolutely irritating!

OH... so BORING! Have been locked at home the whole day! Goodness. Yesterday was boring too. But a news shocked us all. Mdm Ong fainted in school?? My god! And we were told by someone that it was Spencer who caused it! Oh, of course I didn't mean Spencer has some supernatural magical powers to make people faint so easily. It was that tiny Spencer who argued with Mdm Ong. How rude can that be?! We were so damn worried that we even went back to school to check out what happened...But apparently I was the latest to arrive, so after I stepped into sch, we just went to buy drinks for ourselves and WOOSH...we were out of the school...Like BRrrrrrr....One second I just stepped in, and the other second, we're out. Just pray that Ong Foon will be fine. She WILL get well! Yeah! Anyways, that was yesterday.
Today's equally boring. Stayed at home all day. TV was bleh. Singapore Idol had it's ''Big Band'' night, not as big as i thought it would be. Chrisypoo's vocals sucked as usual. Oli was good, but not exactly powerful with her rendition of ''Fever'', though she showed some cleavage..uh huh.. haha. Taufik was cool with that mic-stand throwing thingy. Daphne's legs were ugly. Leandra's getting prettier and prettier each week, but her performances were getting from bad to worse. Sly's rendition of ''The Way You Look Tonight'' simply turned me off. Therefore, this week's theme is a big NONO. Puff...Boring! Malaysian Idol, Jacklyn Victor proved to be the best. Gemilang!

YO! First up, went to watch ''White Chicks'' with MJ & Yihan. Was hoping to catch the movie back in June when i was in the States, but watched HP3 there instead. White Chicks was super hilarious, plus plain lame. The farting scene was my favourite, cause it made me laugh till my stomach was about to fall out! Haha! Other than that, erm, average. Not a really great movie though. Right after movie, we went to shop for some clothings as Yihan was trying to get his Halloween tees and I was roaming about to search for something that can catch my attention. Bought 2 striped polo-tees and a jacket which was ultra comfy at S&K.
Next, we strolled to Mcdonalds to wait for MS CHEW! At first, we were looking around to search for Von, but she was nowhere to be seen, so we decided to settle down first. And a moment after, there she came! She was dressed in black, with a tiny black bag hanging on her shoulders. She was as jovial as before! No change at all...Just as pretty and cheerful like in the past. Can't believe that it's been one year since Von left for London. Time just zoomed pass as though everything had just happened yesterday. She told us London was great, but the people there aren't really that nice as what we thought. We can see that she had lots of fun travelling around with her hubbie during her sch hols and she showed us some pics that she took and the sceneries were breathtaking...so beautiful. It's as though each picture tells a story. The 4 of us sat there and talked alot... MJ was grateful to have Von there... Von really helped alot. Good listener cum advisor. Her hubby is extremely lucky to have such a good wife. Von told us it was tough teaching at R.I, as the students were even more hardworking than the teachers! Like OMG! Are they bulls or what? Sec 1 studying Sec 3 work, Sec 2 studying Sec 4 work, and Sec 3 & 4...JC work?? Insane people! No doubt they are so knowledgeable. And plus, Von told us the teachers there, or rather, her colleagues, are all STUCK-UP people. Like BIG DEAL! But of course, Von is still the best! Von, you have our full support! It was damn fun talking to Von, everything is at ease. Our conversation took 2.5 hrs, where Von left to have dinner with Liong(her hubby). Right after, Yihan's stomach growled and he thus filled it with freshly fried fries, and it was to my horror to see him consume his food in a way that no one on Earth had ever done it before, he was practically licking every part of the tray and at his last bit, he almost swallowed the tray!... (ok, that's not true.) Haha.
We then walked to the bus stop and waited for 81, and on our way, we talked about America's Next Top Model. We were so into the conversation that we even acted out some poses and stunts the models did. Such an enjoyable day for me, for us, for everyone! Ok, maybe not for everyone... but still YAY!

Oh my, oh my, what a day! A hectic week! Exams exams and exams! The best thing is that we are almost done! Last paper on friday, INFA. Like OMG! GIVE ME A BREAK! Currently, my entire mind is blank. There is nothing in there. I don't even have any frigging idea what nonsensical stuff I'm writing now... Rest... rest... I NEED TO REST!
