Feels like an eternal flame...

And so the heatwave has risen and made its way up to the distant recesses beneath my skull. It started from a mild cough to the eruption of agonizing ulcers around the gums and then to a tongue lump and soon, the lump subsided and my throat was burning. Fantastic. So these few days, I have been quite sick to the point where I puked bags of (not slugs), but gases (should it be... burpxygen?.. carbon burpoxide??). Feels heavy in the organs but the body seems to be pumped with helium. I'm sure you dig that. So I earned myself an MC, rightfully.
Work has been really, plain. I must say its sort of getting dry... and the contents replay over time. If you wonder why people are invariably leaving this place, that is why. Scholars step in to get recognised... others flutter out of this cocoon in hope to challenge themselves on a different league, to deviate from the usual top to bottom "follow-what-the-boss-says" way of management. Right. What's the point? The culture of each workplace evolves over time, largely in reaction to the example that's set at the top. Unless you're the new Director, your ability to unilaterally create a change is very, very limited. You can continue to resist, but it's going to be a lot less painful if you adapt. So you see, people wish to transform themselves into civil servants to savour the benefits... other than that... nothing.
Since the departure of Lynn (from MTI), the duties that she was orchestrating (which is presently entrusted to a new recruit), are in total mess. Of course, I am not to speak ill of the person right here, but given a week of practical trial, he should have grasped the technique of performing his tasks, already (not to mention, it took me 2 days to get the same stuff done). Of course, the fact is clear, he's indeed new... but he needs to remember and understand his job scope. Things seem to jam up recently, and we are the last Ministry to clear our accounts (the auditors extended their "stay" here till tomorrow). What's more, the boss churned an excuse to flee from the situation... How nice.
But now, I'm just gonna slack the last hours of the night away. Plus, I love Yas.

What's the hotline to the fashion cops?

Do you guys ever get aggravated at some of the weirdest or littlest thing? I know I have a few. For instance, I can't really stand people with "rainbow hair", you know, the anime look? I saw one with a VIOLET head today. It just annoys me, I don't know why... I just don't understand why people would want to walk around lookin' with a paint-splattered human gourd.
I mean, come on, very few people can actually pull that look off and most of the people who try it aren't those people who can. Just wanna go over there, splash a bucket of bleach and smack 'em. Haha! I know I know... pent up aggression much?
And what's another? Boots. I really can't believe how some of the ladies can simply put on those in town. Reckon those toes steam in the wrap. Not to mention, it defeats the purpose for those who try to exhibit their foxy legs by donning on obscenely short skirts while matching it together with a pair of boots which reaches to the knees, revealing only the porky thighs. They should consider giving up on trying to put the moves on the men. It's a turn off. The ideas 'bout fashion are just all wet.
