GUEST HOUSE
.
This being human is a guest house
Every morning a new arrival.
A joy, a depression, a meanness,
some momentary awareness comes
as an unexpected visitor.
Welcome and entertain them all!
Even if they are a crowd of sorrows,
who violently sweep your house
empty of its furniture,
still treat each guest honorably.
He may be clearing you out for some new delight.
The dark thought, the sham, the malice,
meet them at the door laughing,
and invite them in.
Be grateful for whoever comes,
because each has been sent
as a guide from beyond.

Really Achieving Your Childhood Dreams
.

.
This is a good read which teared me up to the end. I truly recommend it.
Someone so passionate about life and stuff beyond. Randy Pausch, Professor of Carnegie Mellon, passed on last July 25th, losing fight to pancreatic cancer at the age of 48.
You can also watch Prof. Pausch's last lecture on "Really Achieving Your Childhood Dreams" on YouTube by just keying in the exact words as mentioned.
P.S.: Read it before you watch it.

Last night the music industry came together and celebrated at the 51st Annual Grammy Awards and though I only watched half the telecast, all I ever wanted to see on the show was Jennifer Hudson (plus maybe Whitney presenting the 1st Grammy of the night to J.Hud herself for the Best R&B Album).
.
,
I hafta say, Jennifer really soared through the entire song "You Pulled Me Through" as every word to the song was so real, reflecting to the situation she's in and everything about it was so heartfelt. It moved me. It's obvious she's still in deep pain but we all can see that she's mustering all the strength to pull herself back together. From American Idol till this very moment, she has achieved so much and I'm really so proud of her. She is my idol. I hope she continues producing good music for the people and I'm quite sure she'll be around for a very long time.

A True Star on The Star-Spangled Banner
.
.
This is so good. The best I've heard so far. God Bless the vocals. And everything about her. I literally teared on this one. It's really good to see her back. Although she seemed alil distracted in the beginning. But im sure she was prolly thinking... I'm so proud of her. And I'm very sure her Mom, Bro and Nephew would be having the same sentiments too no matter where they are.
Welcome back Jennifer, you were missed.
