Phew...another boring week. Monday was boo. Yesterday was tiring, went shopping again. Hahs. Sales everywhere, woohoo! Didn't even feel like schooling today, but dragged myself there eventually. We had fun in class. Desmond Wee's lesson was interesting. No regrets. Took a cab with Darryl and Hui... Back home, rest myself on the sofa and turned on the TV. Cable TV was kinda boring, watched the news instead. The death toll of the tsunami disaster had been rising tremendously day after day... Watching scenes of family members grieving over the bodies of their loved ones simply made my eyes leak and caused my heart to sink. It's painful. It's horrifying just looking at those houses being blown away and submerged in the water. That was what mother nature did. Destroying thousands and leaving so many homeless and lots missing. We count ourselves super lucky. Being shield from all these disasters. I cannot even imagine what if Singapore's affected. We live in proper homes, can be able to enjoy sumptuous nosh, have good protection and security...whereas having lost their loved ones, the victims still have to be contended with hunger and the threat of epidemics. That is really hard. All we can help is to donate. I truly respect those who are willing to reach out and help. Some students were seen distributing small little notes all around in sch today, asking others to donate. Really nice of them.
Life's so fragile.
Just hope and pray that those missing victims would be able to reunite with their families.
If possible, please donate.

It's Christmas Eve today! And next sat will be 2005... Wow, that's fast. The whole week was super boring except for watching movies. Did some shopping here and there. Kelly's cd rocks. School ended pretty early today, took a bus down to Orchard and guess what? Obviously went CD shopping again! Haha. Was combing for Kelly's "Breakaway", but it's nowhere to be seen. That cashier at HMV lied to me. Asked her last week about the arrival date of the cd, and she told me it will arrive the following day. But Hello, I've waited for a week and I still don't see it. Confronted her again, and she gave me that type of just-look-at-my-stinky-foul-face-and-you'd-gimme-a-tight-slap expression. Horrible attitude. Obvious I didn't slap her cause I didn't wanna dirty my hands. But argh! Whatever.
Bought Diana's and JoJo's cds and ordered some cds at Borders. The young lady at the counter there was super polite, brought a wide grin upon seeing any customers and fulfilled the needs of her customers. That is what good service is about. Erm...please refrain from thinking beyond what's decent- about the gd service...haha.
JoJo's songs were quite nice and Diana's were catchy. I think their cds truly suit the teen girls category, especially Diana's. It's very balladish. Her cd consists songs about BGR and all, but I don't deny that it's a good one. She did a fantastic job with this particular track, namely, "Go On And Cry". It's a power ballad. She showed her vocal range and she went extremely high at some parts, which was amazing. Another song I like is "Blue Skies". It's a really refreshing song as it makes you feel like waking up to a brand new day with a brand new feeling. Diana's really thankful as you can see she truly appreciate lots of people and she's so nice that she even thanked her fans in S'pore, and not forgetting the S'pore Idols. I can say i enjoy the cd pretty much. So many young talents nowadays, cool thing. I am just waiting for the Cd-S/s that I ordered, cause that's what I call good music... We shall wait and see...or rather...listen.

It's already the second week of school, and I'm still feeling damn lazy. Like duh, it's still december, what do you expect? All I can think of all day is ... sleep. So so tired. Stomach's still abit bloated, how I wish someone could just do some jumping on my abdomen to get rid of those air in there. So uncomfy. Lectures and tutorials were boring, although we've got some nice tutors. Just finished watching TAR, Jon suck suck suck and he SUCK! I've never seen such an inhuman foul beast in my entire life. If you guys watched it, you should dig. Really pity Victoria(his wife). If I were Phil, I'd have given Jon several hard stabs when he stepped on the carpet. Just go SCREW YOURSELF, ASSHOLE! Argh! Whatever.
Watched "Home For X'mas" featuring Kelly, Ruben and Fantasia on Star World last night, it was cool. Kelly showed her vocal versatility and that was blasting. They even showed some audition clips of AMI 4, those bad ones. Damn funny. I'm currently doing a countdown and there's only 34 more days to the show! Okay, that's fast.
Read about Delta Goodrem from a source, in an exclusive interview with The Sunday Telegraph and she revealed that she's migrating to U.S after firing a parting shot at her tennis star ex-boyfriend, Mark Philippoussis (who apparently dumped her for heiress Paris Hilton(dirty whore)), and successfully battled cancer. Obviously the reason for this is to get a shot in Hollywood, duh! Sad for Australia cause they're gonna lose a great singer. Pity.
Oh man, read from X'tina's web that she's hosting for MAA' 05 in Bangkok next Feb. Why can't it be held in town again?! I wanna see X'tina! Puff!
Oh, one more week and it's X'mas! Gonna have another shopping spree! Cds cds cds... YAY! Haha.

Sickening sickness.

*Coughs* Oh man, guess what? I'm down with a flu. First was a stomach flu, and I tend to lose appetite whenever I see food. My stomach's like so bloated. And after that, my throat starts to hurt so much that I can't even speak properly. And now, when my throat starts to not hurt so much anymore, I begin to feel the itchiness and my nose is like leaking non-stop. Ahhh... And I hate taking medicine, makes me wanna puke. These few days I don't even have the mood to talk to people, so sick. Gosh, I have no idea how am I gonna survive with this cough... cause everytime I get this, it will take me several weeks after seeing several doctors, to recover, which totally suck. AHHH! SO IRRITATING! Booo!

Merry Christmas With Clay!

Clay Aiken -X'mas Album Posted by Hello

Today was quite a fun day for me. Went to Sentosa for the Baha'i youth camp. It was kinda weird to see the kids do fashion shoots. But damn, one of my best friends, namely, Yihan, showed he's capable of doing anything, even modelling. Must be encouraged by ANTM. Haha. Seriously, the pics turned out to be good and these guys were unqiue with their own- designed outfits and poses. Could see it was a fun experience for them. Went to the beach for this blocks game which consists of 'soldiers and a king'. No idea how to explain it myself, but we have to hit our opponents' blocks down and blah blah blah...At first it was like gonna be a never ending game as no one managed to hit any of the blocks, but soon, the game 'officially' started. Enjoyed it cause I could make use of the blocks to vent my anger at. Haha! A nice game that's played by the Europeans. The rain forced us to stop playing and we were crazily running our way up the slope to the chalet. Played alil TABOO before having our dinner. Really nice to be there cause everyone was so friendly and a warmth hearted feeling was felt. MJ and Yihan were greedily swallowing squids after squids, no idea how many landed in their already bloated stomachs. Watched AR there and left later.

Went CD shopping yesterday and bought a few, namely, Bridget Jones soundtrack, Jesse McCartney - Beautiful Soul and Clay's Merry Christmas With Love. All of them contained nice tracks. I especially love Clay's X'mas album. It's simply spectacular. Been listening to it everyday since I bought it. Clay Aiken's incredible vocal range and his ability to fuel each song with his unique style and emotion stir the mind and soul, particularly in traditional tracks like 'O Holy Night', 'Silent Night', 'Mary Did You Know' and etc... The highlight of the cd I must say is 'Don't Save It All For Christmas Day'. Clay gives a stellar performance with a "killer" glory note which seems to last forever. This song simply blew me away, just can't stop myself from hitting the repeat button. Amazing. It's unbelievably refreshing to have an album of Christmas songs imbued with such depth and feeling. This shall be my All- Time Favourite Christmas Album from now! A big THANK YOU to Clay for delivering this wonderful X'mas present. Fantastic!

CONGRATS TO TAUFIK! - Our S'pore Idol.

Oh my god! I'm so damn happy...extremely! Rooted for Taufik for 20 times. I was sooooooo nervous before Gurmit announced the results..was like holding my breath...I guess most of you guys were too. But yay! Eventually it's him. Taufik obviously outshone Sly a hundred thousand times. Like DUH! Sly disgusts me with his first song, he was practically screaming instead of singing, causing a screechy and deafening rendition of Bon Jovi's 'It's My Life'. His 'An Jing'(Quiet) simply went all the way to a 'Chao Nao'(Loudness) rendition. Aww! My ears! He obviously went off key when singing 'I Dream', and I really have no frigging idea why the judges said he was good? Like Hello guys, no harm to be alil frank over here cause you were paid to judge. They were too nice for comfort...totally.
Taufik kicked off the battle with Stevie Wonder's 'Superstition' and boogied it off well. His voice suited the winning single, 'I Dream', perfectly. When it came to his last song, Billy Paul's 'Me and Mrs Jones', he belted out a tremendously soulful + powerful rendition that I was completely blown away. It was definitely better than George Huff's version of that song. Great job Taufik!
The other 9 finalists who got ousted earlier showed improvements when they perfomed their group songs. Beverly sounds good actually. Don't you think? But a cry baby just doesn't win the crowd over. Their recorded group single 'That's What Friends Are For' was simply sweet and dude, they sounded good. And previously, they showed the Malaysian Idol, Jaclyn Victor, she came! Like *Gasps loudly* oh man! But she didn't perform...sad. If she sings, I guess everyone will be shocked...she's the real thing man. Seriously, she's amazing. BAGUS! Oh man, and it made me so excited when they kept showing the ad on American Idol 4. Yay! Jan 19... Can't wait. Also, look out for World Idol 2 around next mid-year, as Taufik, Ruben, Jaclyn, Casey and many more Idols around the world will be competeing for the World title. But gosh...there's still a long way! Never mind. Woohoo! *Belts out a note and zooms off to bed*
