I don't remember time flying pass so fast in the past as compared to the present and this, I'm afraid, is making me cringe quite a bit. I still remember the very first day my eyes broke open to this fascinating world and the very first day I came to my senses as a human being... I was clueless about life then. Now, I wouldn't say I'm still as clueless but I do feel that way about the future. It's just that right now I'm standing at a different spot, looking at things with a different perspective. See, I always thought life was easy when I was little. You don't have to think that much, you don't have to do that much... all you do is... nothing. But as you age, you realise you've to take on tasks which go on from one level to the next just like that in the games and nothing comes easy at all. You get tired, frustrated, shrouded with all sorts of emotions from time to time. Sometimes, you find yourself stuck at the T-junction and you have no idea which way to choose. You get confused. And all you wish for is to be rescued. By someone. A guardian angel perhaps. Anyone. However. There's times when there's no one. Not a single soul. And that's where you learn to save yourself. And be your own hero.

We fight our own personal battles. But we know we're not alone. People walk in and out of our lives. And these individuals somehow shape up our lives in one way or another. Some good. And some, not so good. But we need them. Because only together can we make our short time on this planet mean something. Only together can we learn to be the stewards of our own destiny.

And though I've said this many times... I'm still gonna say it again and again... And that is; I am really thankful for those who came into my life. No matter who you are, you've made me who I am today. With y'all, I've seen through life in different aspects (though there's still ALOT more to that) and I'm so glad to have learned so much all these while. Though there's good and bad times, nothing has stopped me from moving forward. There's so much more right in front.

Right now, I am so ready to charge on the the incoming year. My well wishes to y'all, my people.
