To Rice, With Love

Today I made my way to the agent for an interview session with one of the representatives from Monash and funny thing is, I told her I'm Eugene and she grinned and said her name was Eugenia and we started laughing away. Such coincidence! Eugenia is such a fine lady. I've to admit I can't stop looking right into her eyes because you know... she's really so pretty and she's Malaysian but now an OZ PR who lives in Berwick (pronounced Bear-rick), Victoria, the town where (I think, most likely) my future-school-to-be is located at. Something cool I learned about Monash other than the fact that the university comprises of 6 campuses in Melbourne itself and few others in South Africa, Italy and the UK; one who is a student at say Berwick campus can totally gain access to all facilities (except accommodation) at other Monash campuses around Victoria itself! And I was given an example like if I were to be caught in a scenario where I've got a book in mind but the library in my campus doesn't house that title, I can actually go online and put that particular one on hold under my student ID and will actually have it sent over to me within 24HRS! How cool is that! If you know me, you know I love the suburbs. And the town of Berwick is totally suburban! Though that's what it is, I was told there's actually a really huge mall nearby and there're a few very nice Asian restaurants around there and what's more, there's a 24/7 clinic right in the town itself. Initially I was really dubious about the place itself because since its rather small but growing, I thought there wasn't any medical services available around, which is in my opinion, something very important. But WOW, I'm pleasantly surprised! We don't even have that many 24/7 clinics in S'pore, given the fact that businesses in most parts of OZ close at round 5PM daily.
There's so much more to say but I wouldn't put them all down here. However Eugenia gave me a real good insight on the university and beyonds and I'm really appreciative of that because finally I could (at least) tell myself I've got a conclusion to what I'm looking for in mind.

There's news that US Secretary of State Ms. Condoleezza Rice is touching down on the airbase sometime this week. Man, did I tell y'all I actually have a crush on that woman? I love her poise. She's so professional and such a role model I'd really look up to every now and then. I love women who wear bright CHILLI-RED lipstick. Totally brings out the hawtness. Ms. Condoleezza is no exception. And I really can't wait to take her hand right after she lands this week.
