Let Me Stand Alone

What a beautiful world that would be. However, Rachel Corrie did not live to build that world herself. In 2003, while attempting to block the demolition of a Palestinian family's home in the Gaza Strip, Rachel Corrie, was killed by an armored Caterpillar D-9 bulldozer operated by a member of the Israel Defense Forces. She was only 23 years old. A poet, writer and a nonviolent human rights activist, Rachel always harbored the thoughts of bringing peace to make the world a better place through social activism. Unfornately, a freak accident or some may call it "a delibrate act", demolished her lifelong "ambition", at the same time, taking away her life.
No man can change the world just by himself, let alone build the world with just their two bare hands. It should involve the spirit and strength of everybody. I am sure everyone, like you and I do, wants to see everybody living in peace and harmony. No war. No brutality. No more hurt and struggling. Free of atrocities and suffering.

There's got to be a way to build that world that we'all want to be in. We just need to go that extra mile in bringing that to reality. You and I have the ability to do that. By starting with small steps.
