So I caught the latest installment of Indiana Jones with a few of my army dudes and I must say the film was just BLEH. Maybe it was the timing or maybe I didn't get much rest kudos to the day's event which drained all the fuel outta me that I just couldn't help stealing occasional snoozes in between scenes. I thought what really caught my attention was Cate's (Blanchett) bob. And maybe the ants. Or perhaps the part where the disc took flight before everything went crashing in that pit. I don't really get the whole plot and not to mention, you call that a crystal skull? Looks more like it's made out of glass and stuffed with aluminium foil and everything about that skull is ridiculous. Really. This movie is worth watching if you still consider yourself an avid IJ fan after almost 2 decades since the previous installment, and to the fact that it's still quite action packed and seemingly long. Other than that, the storyline's just okay and it's not that kind of film that I'll expect someone like Spielberg would make (though he did), and certainly it's one of his mediocre production. Not something I'd wanna watch again.
