Open Toes

It's been exactly 10 days since my op on my once-swollen-with-pus-and-bleeding-toes and I've been bored silly since the 2nd day but on the other hand, I really don't mind that because it means more time with my folks. =) I should guess that my toes are healing by now but what's bothering me is that I still can't seem to walk FLAT on my two feet (been toddling on my heels all the time!) and still experience sudden sharp twitches from time to time! Not to mention, the rollerchair is still the ultimate device which acts as my mode of mobility. Thanks to that I feel like a fool rolling all around the house to the kitchen, toilet, bedroom, dining table, couch and places which accomodate the entry of that chair.

And so if you wanna know, this is how mummified my both feet looked just after the surgery last week and if you scrutinise, you could actually spot a stain on the right toe-head area which I'm not going into much details about that but I must say much blood was lost during the process.=(

So I went to the hospital for a change of dressing early this week and when the bandages were off, there they were - MY TOES! I couldn't get a picture of the real thang and PARDON ME for my lousy art but that's how they looked... with 4 blue stitches on each toe. The consultant said it looked good but I cringed at the sight of them. First, my toes shrunk quite a bit (some of my flesh got burned off). Second, those blue threads/strings/wires or whatever they're seemed like they grow in my flesh...so attached to the skin. Now I'm just wondering how the MO's gonna remove those stitches next week (the surgeon's off to Canada for a conference and won't be back till EOM) and to prepare for that moment, I'm so gonna gulp down as many painkillers as I could that morning so that I won't feel a twinge whilst my toes are being plied on in the afternoon. SOMEONE, PLEASE SAVE ME!

Here's the music video for "Love Story" which is Katharine McPhee's 2nd single off her album. Though the lyrics are corny, the tune and tempo are catchy. I should say I quite like this song despite the fact that Katharine looked like she's doing an ad for Head & Shoulders in this video. Apart from that, Kat's sizzling HAWT at every angle and I'd say is one of the most appealing idols. FIERCE BEAUTY! Enjoy!
