A Day In Paradise!

Okay, I wouldn't really agree to having been in the paradise island for A (WHOLE) DAY, but still, it felt like one! We had a CD (Corporate Development) Outing yesterday at Sentosa and I'll have to tell y'all, it was a blast!!! Judging from the gloomy weather during the past few days, we thought it might rain, but it did not! And not to mention, the weather was absolutely perfect! Everyone was really excited!

So we went for the Luge and the Skyride and I'll have to say it was really worth it! Speaking 'bout Sentosa, it has been almost a year since I went there... and everything looks so different now! Though its an unquestionably small island, it's a place where people can relax. And there are actually lots of attractions that we haven't seen in the past. Especially the luge and the skyride! So in order to ride the luge, you first have to take the skyride. And it's 4 to one skylift.

So basically, Lynn, Diana (DiDi), Vanessa and yours truly squeezed ourselves into one! Initially, DiDi screamed when I nudged her to the direction of the skyride (Yeah, she's afraid of heights! HAHA!). But eventually, she conquered her fear and hopped onto the skylift with glee. Not to mention, the skylift ascends to reasonably great heights, so its not for the faint-hearted! But oh well, it was really worth the cash because we get to take the rides twice! Both the luge and the skyride! The scenery was breathtaking as we soared higher and it felt marvelous!!

It felt like we were on a plane without windows. The summer breeze brushing against our delicate faces, the craziness we had, just lovin' it! And about the luge, the queues were really long but it was worth the wait! And it was so fun! It felt like racing and I'll have to say twice is just NOT ENOUGH!

Diva Mama Diana, Voodoo Lynnie and I! As Lynn calls us, "The younger triangle of the finance department!" Great people and we always have lotsa fun together! LIEBE THEM!

And it was about 5 in the evening before we proceeded to the Palawan for some frisbee-tossing. Vanessa was really hilarious cos' she was desperately trying to get a tan and was constantly convincing herself that after all those frequent exposure to the blazing sun, she was (indeed), TANNED. HAHA!

So one by one, they started leaving and there left us 3, Roger, Van and who else! We had fun at the beach and finished off the day dining at Sakae Harbourfront. Honestly, we had a great time... we talked so much! I really enjoyed myself and if not for Ngee Ann, I wouldn't be meeting fantastic people like these, so THANK YOU NGEE ANN!!!
