Saturday, December 17, 2005 Weekend Recap HOO! The weeks have passed and finally, its our VACATION break! By the way, this was another busy week, but I've managed to juggle between school work and leisure. The past few days of school was quite good, albeit exhausting. But everything was cool. I was in exceptionally good mood recently. Despite the fact that we still have undone assignments and projects, plus having to bully my brain to revise on some of the necessary occasions, I've never been happier. So glad that we skipped all lectures these couple of weeks as it's absolutely mundane to snore our way through insipid moments where still lecturers would redundantly disgorge monotonous speeches. Doesn't help at all. Anyways, we went downtown yesterday, right after we were informed that made-up Audit was postponed to Monday. So we walked around, sat at McDonald's Taka, where the girls gathered to re-watch some hysterical clips, courtesy of Miss Von. Right after, we went straight into Levi's to get the girls' birthday gifts. Soon enough, our class can take the label as the official Club Levi's because almost everyone had been receiving its jeans for each birthday. I reckon we shall upgrade to Armani products next season. Shopping in the month of an upcoming festive season is life threatening. I got all so nauseated the moment I walked into MNG with the girls. There, we witnessed a population of idiots grabbing and clutching anything that was within their reach, as though they anticipated their houses were going to be engulfed by the Sun the very next day. We could have been baked alive in there, you don't know! BAH! When I was on my way back in the home-borne train, I met some of the most obnoxious teens alive in town. They were showcasing their deplorable behaviour, where two of the guys (mid-teens) would occasionally splatter selective vulgarities and flash obscene hand signs at some innocent aunties who just happened to walk pass the door to the cabin, at every station (from City Hall - Bedok). That totally tore me down, as I felt so ashamed that such god-awful pests are actually breeding in a pleasant country. ATROCIOUS! They are altogether an atypical species to us human beings, they STINK! Verpissen Sie sich aus diesem Land! SHOO! As for today, I've been lazy and melancholy with the weather. Been crooning (Yes, I almost shattered my mirror the other day). Shopped for some CDs. Bought Mimi's Ultra Platinum Edition of "T.E.O.M" (in addition to the original) as well as Carrie Underwood's debut "Some Hearts". I've been jivin' to the tunes of Mimi recently. I was captured and mesmerized. I still am. Way to go Queen Mimi! Carrie did an admirable job in "Some Hearts". Initially when I first downloaded the album, I thought it was just satisfactory. It actually sounded more Pop than Country. However, she did not go completely astray. If you were to hit the replay button, you'd think she did great as compared to the other renowned Country crooners like Martina Mcbride, LeAnn Rimes, Faith Hill, Gretchen Wilson, and some other blahs. In the meantime, it's refreshing, professionally produced, and strongly sung. I hope Carrie grabs a Grammy in the Country category in 2007. She's such a sweetie pie. freed his mind P.Y.R.A - U.G.I.N.E at 11:05 PM [comment] Life is beautiful, so are you.
