MTV Video Music Awards 2005  Kelly posing for the cameras YAY! I knew it! I knew she will make it big. I knew she has the power, the strength, the courage, the determination. Last night, she smacked singers like Mariah Carey, Gwen Stefani, Amerie, Shakira, Ashlee and swept away the "Best Female Video" award as well as the "Best Pop Video" award for "Since U Been Gone" at the MTV Video Music Awards at Miami, Florida. Guess Kelly had really 'Breakaway' from her American Idol roots and sailed on. Good for her. And I doubt any past winners can ever stand at her position, given their diminishing status in the biz. Sad for them. Big winner of the night was, Green Day! Yeah! Photos from the event:
